Evan J. Haim is an associate with the law firm of Reimer Dobrovolny & Karlson LLC. Mr. Haim concentrates his practice in the areas of public sector labor law, constitutional rights of public employees, and public safety pension law. Mr. Haim has extensive trial and appellate experience.

Prior to joining Reimer Dobrovolny & Karlson, Mr. Haim was a partner at Hogan Marren, Ltd. where he represented numerous labor unions in the grievance process, including arbitration. Mr. Haim is also represented labor organizations before the Illinois Labor Relations Board, the City of Chicago Human Resources Board, and other state and local governmental agencies. Mr. Haim continues to represent clients in contract enforcement, and wage and hour disputes, including collection of delinquent contributions. Mr. Haim has litigated and advised clients on matters involving Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and the Illinois Human Rights Act.

Mr. Haim was a law clerk for the Honorable Paddy McNamara on the Commercial Calendar of the Cook County Circuit Court. Mr. Haim earned a B.A. (Politics & Government) from Ohio Wesleyan University. Mr. Haim earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the DePaul University College of Law. At DePaul, Mr. Haim was a member of the Moot Court National Honor Society and served as an extern for the Honorable Ronald A. Guzman in the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Haim is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, DuPage County bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association. Mr. Haim is licensed to practice in all Illinois State Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (Trial Bar member), U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
